Hiking has taken more of a main stage within the touristic activities in the island. Mallorca and the beautiful Sierra de Tramuntana are an ideal option for those how love to get lost in nature.
Our island offers a combination of mountain ranges (like the Tramuntana, Unesco World Heritage), cliffs, wooden areas, and beaches, bringing an ideal opportunity to enjoy the peace of nature. The different vistas of the island make the hiking paths quite varied, according to each one´s level and preference.
Many corners on the island can be discovered by foot. Some hiking trails go along the traditional mallorquinian towns but there are some other routes that leads you through stone roads to reclusive beaches. The hikers have the opportunity to get submerged in the local culture and to discover the rich history of Mallorca.
These are some of the many hiking trails you can find in the beautiful North East of Mallorca. Come and enjoy an alternative way of tourism by exploring the island through a different perspective.
