@dulce.sonrisasolidaria (sweet smile) was born in the late part of 2019, through a trip William made to Annantapour (India) to get to know the work of Fundación Vicente Ferrer.
Since this experience, the director of Ses Rotges decided to dedicate part of his work and earnings to finance different projects in that zone through the Charity.
Specifically, thanks to the help given by the people who have collaborated with Fundación Vicente Ferrer and Dulce sonrisa solidaria, in the last year (from 4/2021 to 3/2022) there have been 11043 deliveries, care has been given to 5980 people is severe malnourishment and also to 1339 patients in the IC Unit.
We keep moving forward and we have another project on the go to help give Indian boys and girls a more dignified life and a brighter future.
Ses Rotges’ artisanal products are one of Dulce Sonrisa Solidaria’s sources of income. For this reason, their sales aren’t limited to the hotel’s premises but extend beyond its walls. The “Dulce Sonrisa Solidaria” booth at the Capdepera Medieval Market and La Pajarita, the oldest chocolate shop in Palma de Mallorca, sell these products, with a portion of the proceeds going toward funding some of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation’s projects.

Our homemade jams will take your breath away. With a variety of flavors that change with the seasons, every spoonful will transport you to the unique flavors and aromas of the island.
Among our culinary treasures is our fig jam, a true masterpiece created by our talented artisan jam maker, William. This delicious creation is carefully crafted from a traditional local fig variety known as Rotges. Discover the magic of the island and let yourself be seduced by our exceptional flavors.

In addition to artisanal jams, we have another star product: the Cistelles de Llata. These baskets are true artisanal gems that transport us to a bygone era. At our hotel, we value tradition and culture, which is why we rely on their artisanal production. They represent a deep-rooted tradition, particularly in the towns of Artà and Capdepera, where this material was vital more than 300 years ago.
Such is the importance of this product that you can visit the Museu de la Llata at Capdepera Castle. This material grows in the arid, mountainous terrain of Mallorca. Its stems are carefully harvested by our local artisans to transform them into a durable product.
Ses Rotges continues its efforts to keep this artisanal craft alive. From gourmet breakfasts where you can sample homemade jams and freshly baked bread to our beach baskets—the cistelles de llata—which are available for rent (basket with two beach towels, €10 per service). The cistelles, made from palm heart, represent the traditional craftsmanship of Capdepera. The Museu de la Llata, located inside Capdepera Castle, tells the living history of this deep-rooted tradition.

Since generations ago we have a passion for gastronomy and excellence in service running through our veins. The restaurant Ses Rotges (1974-2022) was the first establishment in Mallorca to obtain a Michelin Star, thanks to the hard work of Gérard and Laurence Tétard, leaving an imprint of talent and dedication.
William Tétard has taken the generational baton and has sustained the legacy of his parents adding his personal touch and creativity.
Our commitment with culinary craft and the attention to detail has placed us as a reference on the island of Mallorca. We are a place where guests can enjoy an unforgettable gastronomical experience in an environment of elegance and sophistication.
Gérard and Laurence Tétard
